TEAM HISTORY

The Dolmio's Indoor Football Club was created in February of 2006 by Steven Dack with the assistance of Thomas Eaton. We currently are playing at the Bundoora Indoor Sports Centre competing in the B-Grade league on a Wednesday night. The team begun its time as a semi-amateur, not quite professional team with Steve and Tom as mentioned. It also includes one Sri Lankan kid by the name of Jey Nandacumaran, a tall Aussie bloke named Ashley Steer and filling up the remaining places were three brothers. Alistair, Philip and Duncan Wilcox.

Steve, Tom, Ash, Jey and Duncan were all in school together at Ivanhoe Grammar, whereas the other Wilcox's were just dragged along to fill in the gaps. However Alistair secured his spot in the first team by scoring the Dolmio's first ever game in a grading match against Doogie's Lions. Philip was a more formidable force in defence with his kicks that go up and that's it.

Also part of the Dolmio's team are the cheerleaders of Whitney Bell and Carly Pocock however one of the other members has failed to appear at game time, Laura. These girls are our only supporters and our most fanatic, even though they rarely watch the match.
